Imagine the sordid lovechild of Mae West and Franco B and you are somewhere close to imagining what's in store when Poppy Von Tarte and Betty Bruiser bring their Burlesque Gorefest to town!

Poppy Von Tarte (known for her wild saloon girl antics, reverse striptease and durational performance) and Betty Bruiser (mean left hook, snake serenader and flasher mac poseur) have an extensive performance history behind them. They explain:  "We wanted to mix high glamour and low brow artforms with an emphasis on brave and bold performance".

What happens when the sequins are off and night time sets in, when we consider the Whys behind performance in the dead of night?

The Night Shift is a Live Art Platform initiated by Betty Bruiser & Poppy Von Tarte to explore the flip sides and paradoxes within their practice.

The first event is a showing of work in progress and is by invitation only. If you are interested in attending this free event, please contact us for further details.
